I see the problem is your boss, He is the provider and doesn't want to tell your customer that their Xerox machine won't work on his service. I suspect this is also a new customer rather than an existing customer getting a new fax machine?
Trying to be as kind as I can, I think he's hoping that if it can't be made to work, the customer will at least recognize that he tried and therefor not dump him. Right they have an existing Qube in place and they are a new turn up. Pretty big account - MPLS T1 with about 20 phones and 2 fax lines. Prolly looking at a 3K a month biller. To Hal: I'm with ya...
