Found a wierd quirk that I havn't been able to work around yet. I have a DXP with two PRI cards. CFOS is enabled on a station. A DID is set to ring to the station.
The user, when he goes home, sets CFOS to active for all calls. Intercom calls and calls ringing into his DID will ring through to the programmed CFOS number (his cell phone).
If someone dials our main number and the auto-attendant answers, the person enters his intercom number after a few seconds they receive a message "Call cannot be completed as dialed." The station, and CFOS setting, is set to prime to the main line group. Looks like all of the remote numbers are not getting sent through or something.
I think it is strange that it works with a regular intercom call, a DID call, just not from the auto-attendant.
We're running DXP Software revision 13A if that makes any difference.
Any ideas?

Use ARS and ARS dialing pause. Program the CFOS number into the ARS table and put a pause in front of it.

I hate to be a moron, but I know absolutely nothing about the ARS section of programming. Can you shed any light on programming the number in the table with the pause.
I've always been much better with Station programming, station hunting, voice mail integration, and System options.
Thanks, Chris

There are some issues with CFOS and early software with PRI. The lates software 17a 191.1 address's most issue's. If you up grade the DXP software, also up grade the PRI software. Is the user's mail box setup to do a blind transfer. Does a transfer from a station user have the some resault as the VM.

Yep, any transfer has the same problem.
The only time CFOS seems to work right is it the call is a straight INTERCOM call or a DID direct call.
The mailbox is setup for blind transfer.
Any idea how I would go about getting a software upgrade and PRI software upgrade. I had a rep tell me the upgrades are like $1,000 or something. That's a lot of money for a bug fix upgrade. Any ideas? Thanks, Chris

Before you get the upgrade. Have you tried selecting a line for the CFOS to use and then put a phone on the line to listen to the progress. Even better would be a digit grabber on the line to see what out pulses. Just a thougt before you buy.

We are using PRI circuits, so there is no line to actually activate and listen to.

Since there is no POTS line and all you have is PRI's. Call the service provider, have them monitor the PRI when you place a test call and hopefully he can monitor the correct channel. I do not recall if you can busy out certain channels on the system. This would make the monitoring easier for the provider.

Enable TOLL/ARS diailng pause in SYSTEM PROGRAMMING. Program the number(s) you wish to cfos to in the restriction table(s) and insert a pause (p) in front of the number(s). Enable ARS in system programming. Whenever the number is dialed the system will wait the programmed length of the pause time before sending the digits. This has worked for me in the past.
