trying to block long distance and operator calls on dx 80 for a particular line. The from column has 2 and the to column has #
used cos 7 and then changed line 746 to cos 7. Now it wont dial out at all on that line. Also the voice mail hangs on the line long after the calling party has hung up.

To stop 0 and 1+ calls the parameter should be 2 - 9 and you also must change the extention COS day & night so that the restriction line that allows all calls is set to N for the extentions you want to restrict.
For voicemail you must make sure the telco is providing a positive disconnect signal.

not sure if I follow, you change the extension cos or the co line cos in restrictions menu?have never messed with toll restriction on the dx80 sorry.

for the A33, in the restrictions menu is ext. COS and Line COS. yes means the digits in that line are allowed for that COS, no means they are not. It's complicated but if you look at the screen and the manual long enough the light will go on.

I think the light went on, try it in the morning, just had a horrible monday.
