Robert Melcher Member Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2	I have an older Comdial Small Office Lite that my phone guy says has the hardware installed for 4 ports, but in order to go to 4 ports from 2, he says I need the code to do this. I am not a phone guy, just a small business owner trying to modify my phone system and get info for my phone guy helping me on the side. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

BIGDOG3c Member Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 731 Columbus, Ohio	Yes, Your service company is correct. Depending on the software key connected to the system. You might need new numbline and switches. These codes will up your port count from 2 to 4. You may also have to add hardware to your system ( this depends on the card you already have in your systm).
