I have a DSU with mostly default settings. The only thing I have programmed is the prime line and direct ring features for the workstations. With the scout I do get a link to the base, but cannot get dial tone.

The phone works great on the DXP at my other office, so I know it is some programming issue on the DSU that I am missing. The DSU programming manual indicated I must enable the headset feature, which I did, but still cannot get the scout to pick up a dial tone.

How should I program these workstations to get the scout to work?

What rev is the software on the DSU?

The scout compatibility did not come in until 16A.

I can only program through the phone, so how do I determine what software version I am running?

Look on top of the dsu cabinet. Software cart is on the left and should have a small visable label. Do not pull the cart out!!

The best thing to do is to contact you local vendor. This is not something you should try and tackle on your own. You may end up screwing up your programming.

But if you realy want to try it on your own. email me and I will get you a price for new software. I need to know the cabinet model number off the side of the cabinet.
