I have an FXII with a CPU2 and serv ex with 17e software. Every once in a while the caller ID starts showing up a call or two later. example - i call in and the caller id info is from a caller before me and then a few calls later mine shows up. If i reset the cabinet it starts working fine. Any ideas?

The services board is the first place to look. You should be running FXSRV2-ii with a CPU-2

Comdial told me i didnt need to but as you know it just depends on which tech you talk to that day. Are there any other problems other than the caller ID that i should expect?

I remember this as an issue. But I cant remember if it was a issue with a hardware rev or software. Probably not software since you are on 17e. What rev is the CMW board. That may be the issue. I dig around and get back to you.
