If the caller picks up the handset, dials 1304 and waits 2 seconds, the line goes fast busy. This is on a PRI circuit and the phone company advises they aren't causing the issue from the 5ESS switch. Any way I can hold this line open with their switch, enabling me to dial more digits after a pause? Thanks.

Welcome to the board. Yes you can adjust the pausing. You need to find out if the customer has ARS invoked.

You need to use ARS now that you have PRI, this way all the dialed digits are stored and sent at one time.

I have PRI at my office and don't use ARS. Just dial 9 and it works fine.

No, I'm not the vendor. I actually work for a phone company and the vendor was blaming us. So I want to ask you guys, because you guys seem to know the answers to everything that I've seen.

It's good of you to put forth the effort to work with us, to often the BOC's are not interested in a resolution if they can say "it's not us". Thanks, and welcome to the board. Mark
