Late at night and have had time to kill a few brain cells. Just received a call that we need to replace a DSU1 1632 with a DSU2 1632. It's been years since I had to save databases on DSUs. Anyone remember if you save a DSU1 database can you restore it to the same size DSU2??? Somebody reboot and restore my memory.

If I remember correctly, I don't think so because the DSUII has different features. The department ringing is one that comes to mind, especially if you have vm ringing. I think it would be best to start over.

Wow, good question. I don't remember either. What Russ said makes sense, but sometimes in situations like that they would have made accomodations for that, thru either a built-in conversion or separate conversion. I don't recall a separate conversion process, so I'd say it was either built-in conversion or simply not possible. (Some help I am, huh?)
