We upgraded a customer from a DSUII to an MP5000. Re-used their phones and 4 port small office lite with IVPC board. Also upgraded them to a dynamic T-1 circuit with PRI and Internet.
They are now complaining of random messages being cut off in voice mail. The customer will hear part of the message and then the time and date stamp. The caller can be any amount of time into leaving the message and suddenly they hear music on hold. This can happen on any mailbox-no pattern that we can detect. Already replaced the IVPC board just to do something.
Never seen this one before. Any ideas?

If it's a new MP5000 turn on Blackbox Small. Have the customer document the time that it happens and email the BBOX to tech support. I'd suspect a SVCS or SSB board issue. Had one today.
