That could be the fifth button but may be a different physical port on the board. I'd go to line 5 programming and disable the line to see if it kills it on your phone.

When I disabled line 5 it killed it on my phone, and when I called the line 5 number it just kept ringing.

Are your voicemail ports a different class of service than your telephone sets?

If I am understanding your question correctly, Each extension is set to Class of service 29(can't call outside lines) or 32(can call outside lines). The voicemail ext/port (400) is set to Class of service 32. If I am not mistaken we don't use any other class of service sets or have any other differences between them.

What I was looking for is the section under COS for the voicemail ports that says "Lines To Answer". An installer may have set that to 1-4.

I still am not sure I am in the right spot, but under COS programming-Page 5 there is a button that says "Answer on Lines" and has 1-128 in the box. When I click that button I see a table titled "line answer" and my 8 lines on the side that says selected lines. There is also a box that says lines available for selection, but no options under that since all my lines are in the other box.

It is now time for me to go home so hopefully I can make some more progress on this tommorow. Thanks again for your time.

Archive a copy of your database and sent it to my email. I'll look at it in my VMMI.
