One of our remote sites has a Prostar DCS system, serviced by a T1. They had been having problems with one of the channels on the T, and suspected a cabling issue.
On a flying trip through there, I replaced the homemade cable between the Smartjack and the Adtran TSU 120, but did not replace the cable running from the Adtran into the Prostar.
That cable also appears to have been made onsite It's a cat5 with an 8P8C plug on one end (two pairs in it) and a multipair connector on the other end (into the Prostar). That's really all the info I've got, as I was told the cable I replaced was the bad one, had to be somewhere else in a hurry, etc.
What I really want to know is if I can purchase a premade cable for this purpose. I have no problem making one up on the fly, but having a premade one would minimize the amount of time the system has to be down. The site is not likely to be close to a supplier, so I'd have to purchase before I go. I'm hoping this is a standard item those with experience would know about.
Thanks!

One of the problems with the cable from Samsung for the T1,is that they use soild conductor cable for the T1. If you can,I would make one using a Amphenol to Modular Adapter and a Cat 5 cable.
Pin outs whould be in the manual.
