Does the i dcs 100 really have to have slot 6 empty when using pri card system full have svm4
in slot 6 but now need to add pri card

You can use all the slots in a 3 & 1 expansion and all the slots in a 2 & 2 expansion. In the old DCS you had to leave the slot on the right empty because you had a maximum of 16 time slots on any slot, but that was the only time ever on any of the DCS systems that you had to leave a slot open.

have since installed the pri card.
The manual that i had was for a compact2
But system was an idcs 100 on the compact 2
the installation guide said to leave slot 6 empty
when using pri card however system was full
had a 4 bri + 2 bri did not have any slots free
but on idcs no need to leave any slots free
as for irishman being truly drunk never heard that particular one but cork people would have a lot of sayings that only they would understand
but nice people nonetheless. us dublin jackeens
would not have a clue
