We need to install an emergency, dial only (analog)phone that will ring up the operator. I haven't had the chance to scour the programing manual, but does anyone know if the Prostar DCS has that capability? I think it could mean the difference between purchasing a phone that can dial an internally pre-programmed number or not.

You go to 306, 307 and set up a hotline.
You didn't say which model you have, DCS, DCS Compact, iDCS 100, iDCS 500, 616 DCS.
There are changes between the Compact and others but you are looking for Hotline.

Don't forget to adjust MMC 502- station timers -off hook select- to zero on that particular station.

Good catch Howie, its only a few seconds but in an emergency you don't want anyone to get confused and try to dial zero or something then not do the hotline, correct, correct, correct. Sometimes every second counts.
