Before I go searching, can someone confirm for me if the 2X4 expansion card for the 816 is different from the 816+ or can they be used interchangible. Do the IC chips factor into what I should look for also?

The plus cards had a disconnect supervision if I remember right. Any 2x4 card works in any cabinet.

Something rings a bell that the new cards for the plus worked down ,but the non plus cards dont work up.

You could use the non-plus card, it was just the disconnect supervision that the plus had, not the earlier.
