A company I work for, inherited a 50si phone system w/ new location, which has a voicemail card that I haven't been able to identify. The card has a HDD, daughter card (VPM?) and connector for 2nd daughter card. There are just two leds, reset switch, db9 male, and db25female connectors.
The closest pic I found was SVMi-8, but this card does not have a secondary (fax) VPN connector and has a button cell battery on the board not on the SVMi-8 board pictured. (???different revisions???)

Imprinted on main pcb is:
SEC DCS SBC OD92-1035A PCS 01 REV 5
date code(???) 11-99-9

A label on the top of the card...
6TITOX-DCS E
54631-0380

A label on the bottom of the card...
GS - GENERAL SOFTWARE

Imprinted on the daughter card:
Lucent CTP 40-08-032C REV C VANTAGE DSPM

Can anyone tell me what I have, or how to determins such, so that I can get programming/user manuals for it.
Can this card be converted to Compact Flash? (HDD is noisy, and location doesn't need lots of storage).

Sounds like you have a Cadence. The harddrives are known to fail on them after a time but feature wise they were a nice unit.Cadence has been discontinued for a few years now replaced by the SVMi series.I don't believe you could replace the harddrive with a compact flash unit at least I've never seen it done. The SVMi8E which is essetially it's replacement does have either a harddrive or compact flash for the storage. The 50Si can also take the SVMi4/E series voicemail as well which is the smaller brother of the 8E.
