Got a 7200 single cabinet with the new style 14 and 21 button phones. Here is what the issue is. It is being reported that when the user on the 14 button phone hits the menu button it acts as a dss and buzzes an extension (of course not every time). Of course my luck it is going to the president of the company. The customer states that it has happened several times today and it has happened it the past. This install is only 2 weeks old. Anyone out there that has seen this. Going onsite in the a.m. and will contact support.

Installed many 2.69 with both types of phones and have not seen that issue. Are you sure it's not user error or FFS?

I would of thought that myself but the menu button is a ways off from the normal dss keys. The second day of them having it a user reported it to me but I thought it was a interface problem between the chair and the phone. But it is now happening more often and being reported to happen to more then one user. I guess we will see.

That is one of the stranger issues I've heard of yet. Something must be corrupt either in the system or the signalling between the phones and the system. Very strange. Let us know what you find.

I have come across a similar problem on a os500.
I traced it back to some faulty facility cabling to one extension.(I know it should'nt effect the whole system, but somehow it did!)
