We moved a Samsung DCS system for a Mortgage company downsizing this morning and Call ID is no longer working for them. I Verified call ID from the phone company on all lines, but its not making it through the system to the phone sets and it was yesterday up until we moved the system. They have a new phone service provider, but this shouldn't be an issue.

I hooked up everything identically the same as the other location, but the last card the ROM-2 card has a flashing or blinking red light, is this normal? All that appears on the phones when a call comes in is "No call Id Name" All of the other programming remained the same, I just had to update the time so I don't know why programming for the Call ID would have changed any.

Any thoughts about what my options are to fix this Caller ID issue? They had call ID before so they have the appropriate cards neccessary to display call Id.. Any thoughts? Thanks, Kyle

You are probably receiving number only (basic cid) from your carrier. If this is the case, have your carrier give you name/number (deluxe cid). If you have a cid box, you could check the lines at the d-marc. Some carriers can only supply number only cid, which means you will need to change the display to number first in mmc xxx. Another thing you could try is to press the review button, then the NND button to see if you are receiving number only cid.

Thanks Gator, I think you are right, when I tested the lines at the D-Mark before the system it gave me the number only. It is Cbeyond service so I know they are capable of both Name and Number

So the flashing red light on the ROM-2 card is normal?

Don't know what mmc is in programming, or how to program anything other than the names on the phones and the time.. I see you are in GA as well Gator, the customer is in Marietta, right off of the Windy Hill exit on I-75, would you be interested in going out there and programming it correctly and we will pay you? Thanks, Kyle
