I posted this at the end of another topic, but figured I'd do a new thread. Does Comdial support SMDI - specifically, is the link between the voice mail system and a Comdial FX-II a SMDI link or something proprietary?
Thanks! -Nick

Comdial supported SMDI on the Key Voice line of voicemails and only with proprietary SMDI conversion boxes from Calista that emulated Nortel, Avaya, and Mitel digital sets.

So I gather that the serial link between the Key Voice system and the Comdial system that turns on and off MWI is not SMDI but is some proprietary Comdial serial protocol?
Sorry for the ignorance, very new to the PBX world, in case that wasn't abundantly obvious :-).
