I have a manager that uses a softphone but he frequently forgets to enable the DND and the soft phone will ring. Is there a programmable button that will mute or just send the ringing call to VM? The mute button on the software or volume controls have not affect when the call is already ringing.

If the call is already ringing, currently there is not a button to divert the call to voice mail. Many have mentioned this so I am sure Samsung will fix that on a future softphone release.
There isn't a mute button on his PC or notebook? Most have one. Should mute any sound produced from any running program. If a desktop PC, there are many keyboards available with an easily accessible mute button.

Noisycow... on digital phones you can just hit # on any ringing phone and it sends the call to VM. I think that works with the softphone as well.

Just a little update here. So the mute button on the laptop will not work either. Once the call is ringing, if you hit the mute button or even open up the audio properties and mute or turn down the volume the call will continue to ring.

Wow. Then get Logitech's V20 little external speakers that run off USB for audio and power, they sound great and are cheap ($20). Press button on top - kills speakers. That will do it.

The # key feature WILL work, but it must be enabled in programming. I just tested on a SoftPhone and it worked.

Marc - The # key is now working. You are super awesome. The changes worked perfectly. I really appreciate your help.

No problem... I find a lot of techs don't know about that setting.
