I'm hoping someone could help me.
I helped a customer move oday fromone suite to another. Ran all new voice and data, moved server and a Samsung ProStar DCS system with 22 phones.
In the morning the the system was up and running. I had the customer disconnect all the switches modem and they tunred off the phone system. Turned the power button on the bottom to off and then unplugged from the wall.
Moved the system down the hall, mounted at the new location, pluged it in so I could test a few of the extensions to make sure my cross connects were going right.
NODDA -
I don't hear a fan and the only LED on the unit is on the ROM1 card in the far right slot.
Checked the outlet, it's got power. Nothing happened to the unit - I watched them put it in a large office chair and wheel it the 150 feet down the hall.
Any ideas? Is there a fuse in this model? Could the UPS have blown?

If the ROM card is showing a glowing LED then you have power. There is no fan in the unit so no biggie there.
It is possible there would be a blown fuse or two, there are fuses in the psu. So you will have to remove it to check.
The other thing is that the old rugged power supply finally had its last day. You can replace it fairly easy. You may want a PSU60 or a PSUB handy. Let me know and I can ship one out to you.

They are class tube "buss" fuses. They are 250v 3amp and I believe the others are 2.5amp slow burns but you will ahve to check that. Yes radioshack has them.

Just something to check... you stated there is a UPS on the system and you stated you checked the outlet... but have you checked the UPS to make sure you're getting power to the system.

Marc,
Thanks, I didn't mean UPS as in a seperate unit. I meant the power unit in the system far left slot one.
