I have a situation where, occasionaly users are experiencing cutoff messages when listening to their messages through the phone. This happens about 5 seconds into the messages.

And then the entire message is there the next time.

Thanks,

Chaz

Is it possible they may be pressing ## when listening to the message which activates the scan messages feature. I've done this myself when I've been trying to next message to a specific message and put the #'s too close together.

Maybe, but I have seen this before on
my 100 and SVMI-8E without pressing anything

Had the same issue. Replaced the hard drive and all is well. Copied all data. Did not hand reprogram. Samsung claims to never hearing of this. But the hard drive change was their idea.

Yes, we may do that. How about a default and restore, and then any hard disk maintenance?

Thanks,

Chaz

I would check your directories for .CHK files. I think they show up in the root of C: or in the c:\temp folder. If you see a bunch of these, it means that you have bad sectors on your drive and this could be the cause of your problem.

I can't say how important it is to have a USB to HD & flash adaptor to troubleshoot these systems.

Kits on Ebay for $12.00 or so.

A life saver on other phone systems, voice mails, PCs.
