I have worked on the impression system and where the analog device would function similar to an extension where they could page and have calls transferred to analog device. Is this true on the dx-80 or would it be better to use the DX Cordless?

I believe this was a ** for intercom..

Any range issues in a restaurant environment? Compressors and Fans? I did see some interference with wifi on the 2.4 issue.

Looking to grab 4 of either DECT or DX not sure which route to go....

Range is good but they are pricey. Channels are not adjustable. Don't know how much longer the product will be around. DECT is a good alternative.

When they worked, they worked pretty good. We had trouble with customers having wireless routers or outside companies with wireless...and it interfered big time with the DX cordless. There for a while, it drove us slightly nuts.

I have done a wireless scan at several locations and found over 25 separate wireless networks blasting a customer. Usually a lot of stuff on channel 11, if I remember correctly.

Ok.. So will the analog phone be able to intercom dial on the dx80?

I assume I can transfer calls to it.

Anyone know the key sequence?

The analog will give the intercom dial tone when you go off hook so dialing other digital or analog extensions is no problem. You transfer to an analog like you would any other transfer...hit the transfer key, press the DSS or dial the extension number.
