I have an ongoing problem with ip phones on a 100. The phones connect, but I have either no audio, or one way audio. The phone works when put on the local network, so my problem is with the firewall I think.
The system has 2.76b software.
Thanks for the help in advance, Dwayne Sohns Tel-All Communications

Yes... this is a common problem with your router or firewall. What brand router are you using on each side?
Log into the system and check IP Set Information. What ports are being used for the Signal Port and Voice Port?

I have two ip phones connected, one at our office, the other at the customers house.
Our office phone says signal port 1599, voice 9000. The other phone - signal 33027, voice 9000.
Its a Linksys router onsite.
I have another customer, same system, same problem. They use Sonic Firwall.
I'll give you the ip address of the system if helpful.

Yes... Linksys routers are known to cause problems. As far as the site using the Sonic Wall... you didn't answer my question. What routers are on each side?
I've got a site with a Sonic Wall and no problems. If the site with the Sonic Wall has a Linksys on the other end... that could be the problem.
The BEST way to avoid problems is to create a VPN Tunnel between the sites. No ports need to be opened, so you won't have any problems with one-way audio.

Thanks for the replies. After much testing, it is the firewall on the phone side. I opened the right ports, and it worked.
