Wanted to get some feedback on which style phones you are installing these days. I'm still doing the iDCS for a couple of reasons. The larger display and wall mounting a DS phone is a problem.

Still installing iDCS series because of the 14 button add-on and wall mount.

Same story as you guys, and the DS series feels cheap to me.

I still sell iDCS as well, still selling 100's because of the possible back of set expansion ports for digital and analog expansion. And yeah the 14 button add on module too is pretty hard to beat.

I have 1 site where they have 30 - TDM DS phones, and 20 IP sets - they still have trouble understanding the differences. "the phones look the same, why does this one behave differently than that one that looks identical" - I get sore throats trying to explain to users with limited technical knowledge. Lots of false trouble calls also because of that...

Interesting to note the differences between markets.

In Australia the Falcon was withdrawn from sale 5 years ago and replaced with the DS range, because the Falcon looked old.

Now Customers are looking for a new phone to replace the DS range, because it is also an old phone now.

Also the fact that the IP and Digital versions look the same is sold as an advantage here.

In the UK, the falcon was never introduced at all for general sale. Not sure why but something to do with the look and feel issues when compared to phones from European competitors.
