CAN ANY ONE HELP WITH SMDR OUTPUT FOR 50SI VER 1.6. THERE IS A MISC1 CARD IN THE SYSTEM. DO I NEED AN OPTIONAL CARD OR CAN I GET IT FROM THE COMS ON THE MIS CARD? SO FAR NO LUCK.

First... please turn off your CAPS lock, there is no need to shout.
I don't have a lot of experience on the older systems, but I believe you need a Serial Interface Module (SIM) to get SMDR to work. The SIM connects to any DLI port.

Marc, SIM only works on the DCS, on the 50si you need a MISC 1 for smdr. There are Different pin-outs for PC or a printer
Double check you Comm settings to assign each com port to either printer or PC
