hi there
I am asked by a client who want to buy this system with 4 WIP5000M handsets, if they will be able to use a LocalPhone.com SIP account (DID number - mainly to receive calls) with this system?

I can see in that it supports SIP, but i wanted to see if anybody have used/installed one?

Thanks Klerik
I have installed the system and connected all 4 handsets with it. it was straightforward job.
intercom is working.
Also any computers around can also connect via wifi and can use the internet.
seprate DHCP is running on officeserv.

PROBLEM:
Under the VOIP setting I have registered the Localphone.com SIP account and It display REGISTERED and it does show online on localphone phone website as connected device.

I can call out but there is silence once connection established. And can not receive any calls at all.

The officeserv is wired to netgear wrg614v3 router "DHCP" which is connected to cable modem Virgin Media UK.

Things I have tried are.

-Used another account from GIZMO: same problem

-Connected it direct to cable modem removing the netgear router: Same problem

-Set port forwarding in the netgear router to 5060 UDP. same problem

-Included the officeserv IP from netgear to DMZ. same problem

- Tried it another ISP (AOL) ADSL netgear DG834G router, did the Portforward, DMZ thing : no joy

Now I am pretysure there is something to be done on officeserve but I can not see anything significant by logging into it via 192.168.111.1

VOIP configrations are as below:

Domain:
Proxy:
SIP: 5060
Codec: G.711a

Would you please advise about anything that I am not doing write??

Thanks

Just a correction
The system model no is
Officeserv S([W] SIT200E1/ESP
Part no 19711E
runnig
Version is 0.95
NOV 2005

I have seen in a earlier post the poster was asking for help in upgrading his system from 1.02 to 1.03
https://www.sundance-communications.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=23;t=001454;p=1

I wonder if any body here could point me to a right place to get an updated firmware for this system.

Thanks

I have just spoken to Wilf Wood at Exec for business systems support at samsung and he is sending me over the latest SOHO Firmware which is 1.1.1 and the install is done via web admin apparently.

E-mail or me and I will send it to you.

Hi there everyone i'm posting here as i brought a samsung officeserv soho from ebay

Model number - sit200emrb
F/W version - 1.02
Manufactured date - 2006.04

the problem i'm having is with the VOIP (SIP) part of the phone i have put in the proxy server details and the account registration and then says "Account Registered".
If i go to the website of my VOIP provider (Sipgate) it shows the phone is connected but if i call the VOIP phone number there is a pause and then the call drops, if i call from the samsung officeserv soho via the voip i get a dial tone like when you have a message waiting i.e beepbeepbeepbeep and not a beeeeeeeeeeeeep line and it will not call out.

i have check and check every option on the phone and there is nothing more to try or change plus if i use a software on the computer connected to the same network and this works and i can make and receive calls no problem at all. i have also used a mobile phone app which again was on the same network through wireless and this will make and receive call also.

from what i have read in many places is that people upgate the firmware then have more options for the voip so thinking if anyone has a newer firmware could you please let me know.

Thanks Simon
