We have a idsc100 Release 2, 2.76b software.
We have a MGI-3 card in it, V3.57.

Ever since we upgraded the system to 2.76b, ip phones have not worked. The have "INVALID REGLOCK" in the screen. I can pull dial tone on the MGI trunks, the phones just will not connect.

Any thoughts? Is there an update to MGI3 card?

Thanks in advance,
Dwayne Sohns

Have you confirmed the ip address of the MCP and all of the SYS IP Option details? Are the phones on the LAN or WAN?

I have checked all mmc's. Everything looks right. I am trying to connect just on the LAN right now. I have pinged the mgi card and the MCP, test fine. I really think the MGI-3 card needs a software update.

ITP phones will connect to a system that does not have a MGI card in it and you can talk ITP to ITP with out a MGI card. The MGI card is used for voice communication from anolog/TDM/VM to ITP so it has no affect on connection between the ITP and the MCP. Also what type of ITP phones are they and what software level are they?

ITP 5121D Phones, not sure about phone software.

This all worked for a yr, onsite, off site, until I upgraded system software to 2.76b.

I have had issues in the past with IP phones and uploading software on OS100 and OS500's (what we call iDCS R2 systems).

ended up having to have the ip phones unplugged, and then restart the system, once its up, plug the phones back in and away they go.
