I connected a DPIM to a door phone using a utp cord. I put the pair white orange-orange in P+ and P- and the pair green white-green in L1 and L2. When I press the door phone button, phone rings, but when I speak through it I only listen noise on door phone. Can somebody tell me how to do it to work?

Thanks.

DPIMs were always a nightmare to wire. I would find a manual and go by the pin outs, rather than the colours.

When you look at a standard two pair cable the pins are 1, 2, 3, 4.

Looking down at the gold contacts with the cord going back toward your body, 1 is on the left and 4 is on the right.

For a frame of reference, if you had a network cable, 1 would be White/orange and that would be on the left and 8 would be Brown/white and that would be on the right.

Pin 1 goes to P- (Black on Samsung cable)
Pin 2 goes to P+ (Red on Samsung cable)
Pin 3 goes to L1 (Green on Samsung cable)
Pin 4 goes to L2 (Yellow on Samsung cable)

OK, I have already tested with Samsung cord and it works, but I need to know how to do it with UTP cable. Should I do it with Samsung cable parameters shouldn´t I?

As bunny says
pin1 to p-
pin2 to p+
pin3 to l1
pin4 to l2

all you got to do is use colours you want as long as pairs
