I am relativley new to Samsung - have been a Toshiba, Mitel, etc. tech for years. I am setting up a new OS 7100 and OS7030, linked via SPNet. Right now I have them set up on the bench, connected back to back with a switch, and the SPNet is working fine (on board MGI 4 channel). Problem is, I am supposed to use the onboard VMail in the 7100 as central VMail, tenanted for both divisions, even though Samsung does not recomment it. I can call extensions and the VMail accross the link, but calls will not forward accross it. In 3.3.4 Remote VMail is Yes, and outgoing digits is 5119 (VMail stn grp), but trunk number won't accept either trunk group number, or individual trunk numbers for the SPNet. Am I attempting something which can't be done? Also, where do 3.3.3 Extra System Link ID and 3.3.5 Remote Station Dial Translation come into play? Thanks.

3.3.3 and 3.3.5 don't come into play.
The trunk number field here is missleading. How many digits do you have programmed for this in NLCR (eg 51, 511, or 5119)?
Depending on the number of digits depened on what you put in which field.

Thanks. I ended up calling tech support and they got me rolling. The problem was the way the number is broken up. My LCR digits are 22 and 51, so for the VMail, it is programmed as 51 then 19.
