Hello I'm from Argentina, I am extending a samsung pbx 7400, which currently has a 7200 with an LCP pbx, I want to put another cabinet of 7200 and I following problem arises: the third cabinet does not have any board internal tone but if voltage. Putting the third cabinet as 2 works perfectly.
Appreciate any help because in Argentina there is no support for this type of pbx.

Sorry my poor English.

I've never tried, but i suspect that you can't mix OS7200 and OS7400 expansion cabinets, as there is only 1 "expansion cabinet type" setting in the system.

Your better off converting your existing OS7200 Expansion cabinet to a OS7400 cabinet with a LP40 and changing the system programming accordingly.

The OS7400 expansion cabinet gives you 11 slots, which is greater then 2 x OS7200 cabinets (10 slots)

These are the facts.

OS7400 main chassis will support only 1x OS7200 Expn Chassis (using LCP in the OS7200).

The 3rd Cabinet nees to be an OS7400 Expansion chassis.

You can only have 1x OS7200 Expn chassis in an OS7400 solution.

Hello, I found reading about the versions to version 4.14 of the 7400 has a problem with the third cabinet. I'm testing next week and notice if it works updating to 4.30

As per my experience and i have read in the broucher that you can make the combination of 2 OS7400 with one OS7200,second one OS7400 with one OS7200,but One OS7400 with 2 OS7200 cabinets will not work you have to use 2 OS7400 Cabinets.

It might work, but why would you do this?

You'd get more capacity replacing the OS7200 EXP with OS7400

Hola Javier!
