We use white or gray cabling for voice with 6 position jacks that match the face plates and orange cable/jacks for data.
Our most valuable products are our knowledge, experience and time.

Does Local 3 have a Sound & Communication division?
I understand they do. On a previous theater job they had them doing the security system.

We try to keep it white for voice cables and jacks, blue for data cables and jacks with white plates, unless customer specifies otherwise. Everything labeled.
But generally white & DODGER blue.

We generally use 6-POS jacks that match the plate color for voice with white or gray cat-5, and Orange or Blue jacks with Blue cat-5 for the data side.
But as already mentioned, it depends on the customers request or specifications.
