All of the Atras cat3 that I have been buying has been twisted pair. I don't get it.How twisted? If it is twisted tight like CAT5 that is what it was but didn't make the grade. Who is Atras anyway? Sounds suspiciously like something to avoid. Have you seen the thread on Chinese cable? -Hal

Nah, actually they are pretty good guys over there. I just wish I could teach them something about telecom. But because they work for large companies their hands are tied by whatever material corporate gives them and how they want the installations done. They would probably get fired for following our advice.

Yeah, some of those guys are a bit wild, but they always answer my questions about how the cable tv stuff works. Now if we could just fix digital voice!
