We had a customer who was a collection agency. They got a system that took a PRI and had an agent lock onto one channel of the PRI for the entire time they were logged in. Then the system interfaced with their contact manager program, so calls were placed simply by clicking on something in the program. Long story short, the equipment also allowed them to record all calls. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the product. By the way, this is kinda a strange category to post this question, isn't it? ------------------ | Signal Communication Systems - Fresno, CA | | Telephone Systems, Voicemail Syste... & Data Cabling - Central Valley, CA [This message has been edited by 5years&counting (edited March 20, 2005).]

Day late as always (er, well months late, but at least I've got something for ya) Check with the folks at CTS (Computer Telephony Solutions)in Tempe/Mesa AZ. They can be found at www.oaisys.com and they have a really great client/server solution that does that. It is not a "cheap" solution, but it is very well designed and the guys there are very good. ------------------ Tim Payson https://www.cobotyx.com

I had a client that is an outbound-call mortgage marketing firm. Their setup is as 5Y&C was describing. I think the name on the equipment is "Melco" or "Melcor." As I recall, they are a subsidiary or some large electrical manufacturing company, but I can't remember who.
Any help?
