I worked for the RBOC in NY for 5 years. I went to the hs of telecom arts and technology. I have been picking up my own residential customers for several years now...
I worked Install and Repair for the ROBC. From the outside plant, picking underground and block pairs, to running drops, and bridale, to installing and troubleshooting i/w at the customers prem.
I have experience in CAT3, CAT5, and RG6 wire runs. I am familiar with POTS, aDSL, VoIP, and some centrex. I do not have much experience with systems, although I am very eager and intrested in picking up these skills.
I have my own tools, and non-commercial mini-van.
Currently I am filling my days by working with a General contractor, and the pay isnt that great, I make more money with my side work, but am only available normallay after 4pm, and on weekends..
