Hello Folks, I have an existing ESI X-Class customer using 5 RFID/ Door Box units. Four work fine, number five will 'lock up' from time to time. The display will show the last action which is usually someone fobbing out. A system reset will clear for a week or two. Any ideas?

Does it need an entire system reset? If so it's an issue for ESI tech support. If not, I would try troubleshooting in this order: 1. Try a spare pair in the station cable 2. swap out the unit 3. try a different extension port It sounds like there is a data error being generated somewhere, maybe by an intermittent open circuit.

If that's the case, tech support should be able to see link errors in debug.
