Customers love it, easy to install, tech support is generally good and responsive, company is privately-held with a pay-as-you-go mentality (and pretty good, steady growth, while others were suffering pretty badly). They have some innovative products, some weak spots (what manufacturer doesn't?), and did I mention costomers love it? Oh, and one other thing: every tech I know who's gone to ESI training comes back asking why we sell anything else.

I'm sure you'll get others to respond, but that's my $0.02.

I am not an installer ore reseller, but an end user of an ESI IVX X-Class 256-X and I LOVE this system. Every company I have worked with has always used the Nortel systems, which is what was here when I began employment here. I replaced our Nortel with this system about a year and a half ago now and my staff loves how easy to use the system is. I am currently running a 2 cabinet setup with 2 VIP Pro licenses, 8-Channel Esi-Link, and tenanting. The tenanting comes in because I have our Co. Emergency Management in another building across the parking lot who is now connected to our phone system via a 50-Pair underground cable. They are running digital and analog extensions, as well as a couple of fax lines that bypass the system, but are carried via the same cable. My reseller has been a HUGE help with the system with any project or information needed by my Director or the County Manager. I like the system so much that I have actually considered trying to get out of computers and get into Telecom so that I can get into selling and installing ESI systems. This system is so powerful, but also so unique because all the features and functions are software based, so therefore if a problem is discovered, there is no need to make a special trip to the site to replace a hardware component for a minor feature bug, you can simply upload the software from a remote location using the NSP, set the system to restart when no one is there and the problem is solved without ever having to start the van. My installer has corrected problems for me in the past while he was 4 hours away from my site, and corrected the problem in minutes. The only bad thing that I can say about this system is........................Dang, I can't think of anything bad to say about the ESI systems. Anyway, if ESI has called you and invited you to be a reseller, I would definatly go for it because with the feature set and capabilities of these systems, it is hard not to sell one of these systems to a prospective buyer. I even recommended this system to a friend of mine who operates a motel on the Outer Banks of NC and told him how this system could help him out, especially if he were to get the Presence Mangement system and install a door reader on every room's door and how easy it would be to link the system to the other motels and real esteate agents on the island who are owned by the same company. Anyway, that is my $0.10 worth, so it looks like you are up to $0.12 now. Good Luck and I really hope that you consider becoming and ESI Reseller. I think it would be a really great move for your company.

It's OK I guess. All it does it what it is supposed to. I know I have a lot of happy customers out there.

I know there are a lot of major names out there that wish they had ESI's reputation.
