All my research indicates ESI systems are tightly controlled (unlike the Nortel systems I am familiar with). Is there a "resellers" market for ESI equipment or must everything be purchased/serviced through the authorized dealer network?
What's involved in becoming an ESI dealer?

All new systems are purchased direct from ESI.
They will not support endusers or techs that are not certified and legit dealers on the product - this is a huge plus. It keeps all the trunkers out of the market.
You will need a sizable opening order now a days to become a dealer I believe.
Just call them up and ask for the South East rep. You will probably talk with Andrew or Sean, both real good guys.
It is a very good product though, well made and suppoted.
For Miami you may have a probelm since they do not have any "Spanish" prompts.

OK, thanks. Not for Miami, but a franchise that is expanding in the SoFLA region. Client wants 30+ systems installed over the next six months. Must be ESI as that's what they have in existing locations. Unfortunately, I'm not a dealer. Sent ESI an e-mail asking about the process.
If any ESI dealers in SoFLA want to work with me on this deal, please send a PM.
