Had a new customer call about his phone sys today.
He has an Iwatsu Abrivo Xeo system and the people who installed have gone out of business. It has the Omega-Voice VMI 1X-4ML voice mail card. He does have the doc CD and It seems fairly simple to work on. He DOES NOT have the cable and the 9 pin serial to RJ-45 adapter supplied with to system. A standard
RJ-45 data patch cord should work. Tried all
of the adapters I had, none worked.

HELP HELP does anyone have the pin out of
this adapter. Could not find any info in the
docs

Thanks, please email at [email protected]

A search of previous posts leads to this:

The adapter can be used for programming an ADIX also.

Make a couple of 'em....

looked at the site and it still does not give the pin out. Some of the adapters I have use the same color wire for all pins and is the color code you used for the old USOC 8 pin jacks?

What I really need is the pin out. I.e.
DB9 side RJ45 side
1 - open
2 - 4
ect.

Thanks in advance

Well it is me again, the quy who was looking for the pin out of the DB9 to RJ-45 adapter. I finally got hold of Iwatsu Sales and they told me what part # to order. They also said they would need a PO from my company and gave me a POC to fax all info to. Its been over 14 days and I have heard Nothing back from them. They were provided with a 24 Hour phone # to reach me.

I finally got fed-up and hooked up a break-out box between the lap-top and the system, played with the wiring and got it to connect. then pinned a 2 buck Radio Shack adapter. Works great.

As a NEC guy I was impressed by some of the system, NOT impressed with the support.
