On a Adix system with 7.32 software we had to get the CO lines to call forward in night mode to a cellphone. We had to take the delay ringing stations out of 11.33 and put them in a hunt group in 11.73.3 to get it to work. The only extension in 11.32 is the attendant phone (log2). Now the customer says that some of the incoming calls are not being answered. Callers says the phone rings but no one answers. This is only happening sometimes but its enough to upset the customer. I've got log 2 in 11.32 and got log 2,7,8 19, 20, 21 in the delayed hunt group. Is it ok to have log2 in 11.32 and a delay ringing hunt group at the same time. Does log2 delayed ringing to itself cause a problem?

The port you have programmed to ring in 11.32 will still be ringing when the delay ring group kicks in, so having the same port programmed in both places is unnecessary.
Hunt groups will only forward to another hunt group, so remote call forwarding will not work for any port listed in the delay ring group. Any port that is MANUALLY call forwarded is removed from the hunt group, so there's a double-whammy.
Delay Ring hunt groups operate irrespective of DAY/NIGHT settings.
Remote call forwarding only works for the station that first received the call- you can't cascade thru more than one extension and have it remote forward. Your best bet is to set the attendant to remote call forward and disregard any programming in the delay group because the call will never reach those extensions
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
