Does anyone know the battery number and voltage for the 'brown' 616 system? I had a system go out and can't read anything off the battery on the system. It's about as big as a AA battery with solder wires on both ends.
I reprogrammed the unit so she is good now but the owner wants the battery replaced in case the UPS goes out again.
This was the first system system I learned and programmed over 20 years ago.
Tip and ring, the work of the devil!

I don't have a 616 CPU in front of me but the ZTD CPU I have in stock is a 3.6 Volt ER 17/33 2/3A Maxell. Sounds the same...it's been a while. I believe they were the same but I'd wait to see if anyone has an old dinosaur still going. I loved those old 616s.
