Using trixbox Pro Call Center Edition v 2.1 with HUD.
Is there a way for a non-ACD agent to pick up an ACD call ringing an agent's phone? HUD won't allow the manager to click and drag the incoming call to her own extension which she would like to do occasionally.

Just FYI for future reference, this is the answer I received from the trixbox forum:
Press *8 then 'dial' on the phone. This will intercept the current incoming call. If there is more than one incoming call then its a lottery as to which call gets picked up.

You can also use a directed pickup if you want to grab it from a specific ringing telephone or a group pickup to narrow it down a bit more from "every telephone in the company".

What whould the directed pick-up code be? We're having some issues with the *8.

Try **+ext. If that does not work try adding this to /etc/asterisk/extensions_custom.conf and restart Asterisk when you're done
[app-pickup-custom] exten => _**.,3,Pickup(${EXTEN:2}@from-did-direct)
