Hi
There is a few questions that need to be answered .
1. Is this a new mailbox or is it one that has been working ok and is just recently giving you fits ?
2. Are the messages being left in the mailbox of normal duration say 1 to 3 minutes ?
3. Is it every message or just certain ones like maybe from cell phones ? You can usally tell cell phone messages by the noise in the background .
If this is an old existing mailbox then a TFIX probably needs to be run on the system . Since it's an call xpress 3 its been around for a while and running a TFIX is a good idea anyway .
If the messages are long in duration you need to check your maximum message length in sysconfig .
If it's seems like it's only cell phone then you need to adjust the silence/dialtone disconnect timer in sysconfig .
There are 6 or 7 submenus in sysconfig so off the top of my head , I can't point you to the correct ones . One clue if a TFIX needs to be run is if a daily message backup takes more that 1 or 2 floppy disks .
Let us know and we can fix your call xpress 3 problem as long as you have admin rights to the application . Thanks I hope this helps .
