I've got to go back and connect/troubleshoot the cursed 66 block, though. did you use a punch down tool to terminate to the 66 block ?

I've got one, but I didn't end up punching down on this one.
Once I began looking at it, I couldn't figure out exactly how they had it wired. There were three lines, two voice and a fax. However, they've also got a POS system that is connected somehow. I didn't see any DSL splitter.
In the end, I couldn't figure out what was going on and I didn't want to mess up their phones, that's for sure. So I recommended to the client to call their phone guy and have him back out to install my RJ31X.
The client is NOT happy about that... "all the other companies I've used haven't had problems"
ARG!
I could've just punched down and gotten signal without worrying about line seizure, but instead I step back and try to get things done right... and that seems to just make people mad.
I'm having problems with the Aurora motions faulting, too. But that's a matter for another thread.
Learning as fast as I can.
