I can not decide what kind of amplifier to use. I have a 8 ohm 30 watt speaker and i need a amplifier i can hook up to a Merlin 820d2 phone system.

Posty, you are going at this bass-acwards. Take a look at a Viking PA-2A. It will probably do what you want a lot cheaper than cobbling up something to use that exhisting speaker. What is the wanted result? Is this in relation to the posts back in March? If so, what did you do with those suggestions and is the 'speaker' the horn you mentioned? John C. (Not Garand)

I think your question was answered the last time you asked this.
To quote:
