I have not seen this before (if I have I don't remember), so am looking for help. Working on a "classic v9.7" Coral II system. All seems to work fine on internal calls, but on making a call by dialing outside, (10 digit dialing) it takes forever (at least 12 seconds) to dial the call. You can dial the number and then across the EKT screen you will slowly see the digits you dialed roll across the screen at the rate of about 1 digit a second. After that, wait a little while longer and the call will ring and so on. I can only think that maybe it is the 8DTD card, but also wondering if there is some programming that might/could/should be checked. Very strange. Thanks.

It looks like its timing out. Try dialing 11 digits and see what happens. Could simply be your LCR dialing isn't set properly.

Any chance the system has, for whatever reason, decided to pulse dial? The timing sure sounds like it. John C.

I will check that out also, when I go there this afternoon. That makes a lot of sense also. Thanks

Sounds like the LCR elements aren't defined correctly.
