On a Coral, after you establish a call between 2 flexsets, if you press a key, does the other party hear DTMF?

I am trying to hook up a CPA on an Office, it is hooked to a zone controller and I need to feed DTMF to the controller to select the zone. I'm not hearing the DTMF.
