Customer has a bunch of old T1 cards in their IPX 3000 for their call center. They want caller ID. Century Link has added what they call "Real Time ANI". Tech support told me the only change that needed to happen is in the Trunk Group. The "incoming CLI" needed to be changed from "N" to "Y". We made the change after hours. As soon as the telco activated on their end we would get busy signals on any 800 #'s being called. The telco said that we are not set up in the phone system as *ANI*DNIS. Tech support told me we are. I don't know if it makes any difference but the trunk groups on the telco side are what they call "Super Trunks" meaning that they roll over from one to another. Anyone have any ideas on what else could need to be changed on the Tadiran side?

Verify they are sending the proper *ANI*DNIS with a tester on site and have a Tadiran tech there as well. You need a vendor meet for this.

What kind of tester are you referring to? (I am a Tadiran tech). Relatively new to the telco field though.

Tadiran IPX/Coral or ICE? T1 tester monitoring DNIS/ANI info on the channels.

System is an IPX 3000. Telco swears that they are sending *ANI*DNIS. Is there anywhere in programming that I can look to verify that is what the system is set for? Telco tells me the system is not set up for it or the calls would be coming thru.

Installation manual version 15 page 377+ on trunk group programming. Channels have to be E&M you cannot have DTMF supervision disabled etc. Other things like digits expected etc might be an issue. But, all things being said it never hurts to make sure the carrier is sending the correct format.
