So as someone enluightened me, I needed to enter COS 100 and type 1 and not type 10... so i created a new mailbox and all works fine... or almost....
I tried to delete the mailbox 3007 which I created with COS 100 and type 10 and it says it will take a moment then it just drops my phone connection in... I have tried this MANY times via a phone, and since I do not know the VMS password for when I hit F8 I cannot delete it any other way can I???

press F8 and then EXC and the password you have used to get into mailbox 5000. it has to work. once you are in the system press C and then F9 or F10 to scan through till you find the box, then press F6 to delete. if this does not work email me. ftom the 24 port screen you can press F4, then F7, ESC, Y, ESC and you will be in the off line programming. at this point press F1 then screll down to Mailbox Setup, which is the same as C screen. here you can see mailboxes and add and delete the one you want to delete. from here you can setup and scan for manager mailbox which is COS 700 type 10. most of the time that is mailbox 5000. find it delete it and recreate it and it will give you a temp password which you can use to get back into the voicemail. When you are finished press ESC, ESC, 4, F6 and enter and restart it. when comes up Press F8 ESC plus your Temp Password and you are in. Hope this will help.
last thing, if all fails, you need to go into DOS into file C:\mailbox\EXC and delete the box you need buy typying deltree 0003007 or whatever the box is.
