I had 2 basic phones for Axxess system temporarily go dead at the same time. They were in the same office space, but on different cards in the system. No dailtone or anything. To fix them I unplugged them and plugged them back in.
Has anyone heard of this before? The phones were plugged into the same wallplate, but otherwise they were totally different circuts.

The only thing I can think of is feedback, but that shouldn't take them down. Did they stay up and working after you plugged them back in?

They seem to be fine since this morning.
We'll see how they are in the morning. The same guy uses both phones, maybe he was using some serious static generating shoes.:P

Both phones plugged into the same wallplate, this sounds like a wiring problem. Look at the error logs and just before the phone dropped off line look for error codes 5062, 5067, 5068, 5069, 5070. These are all related to a bad connection somewhere in the line. They also indicate more than that but since both phones went dead and there in the same wallplate I suspect the wiring.
