Hello,
I have a client that has a Vertical SBX IP phone system with voice mail that was installed for them the problem is they installed Voicemail and the customer does not need or want voicemail on the lines. They want a live person or nothing. Can someone tell me how easy it is to remove this out of programing?

Sure just turn the system off, pull the voice mail card and then turn the system back on.

It around 98 I think. 48 for actual phones plus 50 virtual mailboxes.

It shouldn't. Just remember you will have no voice mail at all nata.

haven't tried it but i'd worry about what the system will do when it tries to access the VM...ex. line rings station group then overflows to an AA menu. something like that would be my only concern, although theoretically it should just ignore the overflow and keep ringing.

The worst case would be if it overflowed to an error tone. I wouldn't worry about it though. If by some long shot something did hiccup, you could always reinstall the VM board and then call for help.
